Palo Alto Unified Pays Off Superintendent; Search is on for a Replacement
Palo Alto Unified School District is in search of a new superintendent after Glenn “Max” McGee’s controversial short tenure came to an anticlimactic end.
It was discovered that McGee was misusing public funds while making less than desirable responses in regards to accusations of sexual harassment and assault.
Even though McGee has submitted his resignation and intends to leave the position, his contract with PAUSD guarantees McGee six months’ pay in addition to a 1.46 million dollar loan that is given to him in 2014 by the district for purchasing a home, is hereby forgiven so long as McGee turns over the home back to the district which he has agreed to do.
