Lucia Mar Unified Superintendent Resigns Citing Health Reasons

The Lucia Mar Unified School District will have to look for a new Superintendent following the resignation of Dr. Raynee Daley.

Dr. Daley has led the school for three years and submitted her resignation papers this week stating in an email that her “current health situation demands my full attention.”

The school board is holding a special meeting Tuesday night to discuss next steps for the district.

Dr. Daley will be greatly missed. We’re hoping for a speedy recovery for her and her family.
