Parkland Survivors Give Therapy Dogs Their Own Yearbook Page

In the darkest of times, a group of four-legged friends were there for them. Now, students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are honoring the therapy dogs that gave them gave love and comfort after a mass shooting last year.

The 14 canines are featured in the high school’s yearbook — a testament to the important role they’ve played in supporting the mental health of Parkland survivors.

The school’s yearbook adviser Sarah Lerner told CNN that the dogs have taken on a sort of celebrity status on campus. Including them in a school memento was a no-brainer.

There truly is no friendship like that between man and dog.
