
Charter Group Under Investigation for Alleged Union Violations
An audit is underway for Alliance College-Ready Public Schools.
United Teachers Los Angeles and a several Alliance educators have accused the group of violating their right to unionize.
State law says that educators are allowed to unionize without any sort of intimidation or interference. But UTLA has filed several complaints arguing that the charter group has made efforts to block union groups form forming.
Now state lawmakers have intervened and have voted to audit the charter group.
