New Administrators Join Nevada Joint Union High School District

Two new administrators have joined Nevada Joint Union High School Superintendent Brett McFadden’s team.

The Union reports that former Grass Valley Special Education Director Janet Horowitz has taken over as director of pupil services. She is replacing Sean Manchester who was killed in a kayaking accident in March.

Aurora Thompson has been hired for the brand new role of career technical education and state/federal programs director. She most recently oversaw student support services for the Penn Valley Union Elementary School District.

According to McFadden, both Horowitz and Thompson have children in the district.
