
Schools See Zoom Bombs, ‘Mooning’ During First Week of Distance Learning
Fall semester has officially begun. But in the Fresno area, it’s parents and teachers learning the biggest lesson so far.
“Distance learning got off to a rough start in the Fresno area after students at one school turned an email into a 1,000-plus-reply chain, which included memes, and a student mooning the camera,” the Fresno Bee reports.
“At another school, an intruder yelled an obscene word before being removed from a Zoom class.”
At least one parent who spoke to the Bee expressed frustration, seeing the technological challenges as evidence that the district is not prepared.
