With days left until deadline, LAUSD offers vaccine incentives to students
What will it take to get your kids vaccinated against COVID-19? California’s largest public school district is hoping $5 million in gift cards and other incentives will do it. Oh yea, there’s a possible trip to Hamilton in there too, so don’t throw away your shot.
LAUSD is just three days away from a self-imposed deadline for students 12 and older. By Nov. 21, all eligible students in that age group should have received their first dose. Full inoculation is required by Jan. 10 or students will not be allowed on campus.
Currently, LAUSD’s student compliance rate is 72%.
