El Camino College Receives the US Department of Education: Title V, Developing Hispanic-Serving Institution Program Grant

From California Consulting

California Consulting (CC) congratulates El Camino College for receiving the Title V, Developing Hispanic-serving Institution Program in the amount of $2,933,714 from the US Department of Education. This grant will be disbursed over a 5-year period.

El Camino will use the funds from the 5-year Title V grant for WINGS – a program that will offer holistic support services to Hispanic (and other low-income) students as well as professional development to select faculty. The goal is to increase the performance of Hispanic students at the college.

This most recent accomplishment is another example of the commitment of the college’s leadership to promote the quality of life for its students.

It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work of CC Project Manager, Matthew Kamm, who wrote the award winning application in collaboration with the fantastic team at the college.  Thank you, Matthew, and congratulations to El Camino College.
