The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified Board of Education has been warned that two of its members may have violated the Brown Act.
The school says it has no choice.
According to the National Student Clearinghouse, just 33% to 38% of 2011 and 2012 Burbank grads who went on to college received a degree within six years. The numbers did increase five points between the two years.
Thanks to college programs, more of them are graduating too.
The proposed funding boost would help Cal State enroll more than 8,100 additional students in 2019-20. It would also help fund an initiative that seeks to boost graduation rates to between 40% and 70% by 2025.
